On Maia Praia every year there is a color fest where they shoot environmentally friendly dye over people and the sand. Lots of beer and partying. Live music and DJs. Swimming in the beach, etc.
We went with Sam and her friends for a great night out. Went pregaming first in the praça then headed over to the beach via water taxi (first time). Hung out on the beach for a while listening to the music. I went for a swim. It was difficult to get a beer so we went back into downtown and had more drinks and dancing and chit chat. Great night!
