Whenever I go back home to Lagos, I take the bus. I take an Uber to get to the bus station and I'm usually there for at least a half hour or so before my bus. I hate the Lisbon bus station. It's dirty.

So this time I wanted to leave the praça an hour before my bus. I called an Uber and it took him at least 10 minutes to get there. I thought he was lost.

I finally got in the Uber and we were on our way. The traffic was awful. He didn't take any highways and left a lot of space between cars even after I said I had a bus to catch.

I was on Uber and it kept changing the arrival time. I was supposed to get there with 30 minutes to spare but... When we finally reached the bus station I ran but, alas, I was too late. The bus had left.

I was scrambling around and bought another ticket but then Brian looked up another bus I could take to Lagos and I bought a ticket on that.

Probably a good 70 euros and I was on my way home. Not fun.
