Zurich is a VERY expensive city. I had sticker shock on everything. In fact, it was so bad I was purposely getting really cheap and bad things just to save money.

The biggest shocks I got was the first night at the pizza place when the bill came to over 150 swiss francs. The next day we went to a restaurant (the only one open at the time). A hamburger was 38 swiss francs.

First and last time in Switzerland I think.
