There is a Portuguese stonehenge which is actually older than the more popular stonehenge. It was a few kilometers off of where we were but we decided to go to see it.

Getting there was a trip in hell. The road is not paved and VERY bumpy. And when I say bumpy, it was "hang onto your seat" bumpy... getting a concussion bumpy. Lando wasn't scared and he just slept (or tried to) but I was fully awake and very ready for the trip to be over.

The stones were worth it, though. It was amazing to see them and how well preserved they are. Definitely a must-see (if you can get through the road)!
